BIOGRAPHY

Elise was born in Germany and came to America when she was four years old.  In second grade she sold her first picture at a parent teacher meeting for fifty cents. She really got. Into painting in the early 1950’s. During her lifetime she became known as “The Second Grandma Moses.”
